PresLink's linking technology provides a completely stable presentation, even when working with files stored on a document management system (DMS). |

If a source file is a DMS file, we store and use its ID number and, if applicable, its version number (rather than File/Path, which will change). The latest version of the file is automatically used for all updates. |

|
Updates to a presentation do not require checkout of the source file. So the operator does not need to have write access. |
